Spartans here and now

Hi and welcome back. This week we went back in the Suite 101 Timemachine a little further than we have in our other articles to the year 480 BC, roughly 2500 years ago to take a look at the Battle of Thermopylae.

This is the most famous of 'Last Stands' of a small determined force against an invader, setting the same terrible stage for such future performances as The Alamo, Isalawanda, Wake Island and Le Cameron.

I would love it if you give it a read.

Our next article will bring us to the near future with a look at post world war two horse cavalry.....Saddle Up!
