World War One contained the flower of a generation, in more ways than one.


In our latest article we focus on the famous people of the Great War (also inaccurately called the First World War, or the War to End all Wars) . No, these aren't the Generals and Field Marshals, in fact none of these men were career military men at all. These men simply put aside their lives and joined the military to serve something they thought to be noble at the time. It is interesting to look at the future lives of these men and recall their words on warfare. They all went out of their way to deplore death, war, and carnage.
